Animal Crossing and Stardew Valley fans will love this upcoming life sim

Animal Crossing meets Stardew Valley is this upcoming life sim for cosy game lovers

I don’t know about you but I don’t think there are ever enough cosy life simulation games and if you agree, you should keep your eyes on an upcoming one which incidentally, has the odd llama.

Wish Upon a Llama is an upcoming 2D life sim reminiscent of Stardew Valley. Developed by Millionhare Studios, you will embark on a “delightful journey of breeding and raising adorable animals” in the unique village of Llama Town.

Check out the Stardew Valley trailer below!

I know what you are asking, what sort of animals? Wish Upon a Llama has you covered with llamas, bunnies and capybaras available to look after and not only that but there are even more animal breeds to discover.

When you are not tending to your animals, you will be able to build meaningful relationships with the other residents, tend to your garden and explore a rich and cosy town.

As Llama Town’s dedicated rancher, you will be able to take your animals for walks, give them gifts and even find and befriend wild animals on the outskirts of town. Once they are in your care, you will be able to play, interact and train them.

However, Wish Upon a Llama will also task you with creating new species of animals with up 50 special breeds to discover. With animals coming in various colours, patterns and personalities, no two animals are the same and genetic traits will be passed down.

As for the townsfolk, they are quite the diverse bunch with a chill gamer, resilient immigrant and a determined engineer just a few characters you’ll meet. Each with their own story, you will be able to befriend them all and romance may even be on the cards.

Wish Upon a Llama is available to add to your Steam wishlist now and will release sometime soon.
