Banjo-Kazooie sequel teaser is everything we've ever dreamt of

Banjo-Kazooie sequel teaser is everything we've ever dreamt of

Banjo-Threeie has been made by a fan, and it’s the Banjo Kazooie sequel we’ve needed for the past decade.

Banjo-Threeie has been made by a fan, and it’s the Banjo Kazooie sequel we’ve needed for the past decade.

It’s honestly criminal that another Banjo-Kazooie game hasn’t been made yet, especially since Xbox and Nintendo are both playing nicely with one another.

Check out GAMINGbible’s awesome interview with the cast of the live-action Fallout TV series below.

Rumours have been going around that a third game in the series (we don’t count Banjo-Kazooie Nuts & Bolts), has been greenlit by Microsoft, but unfortunately there’s no confirmation it’s real, or if Rare will be making it.

That being said after the success retro video game icons like Crash Bandicoot and Spyro The Dragon have had over the last few years, another adventure with the bear and bird feels like a no-brainer.

If you’ve ever wondered what that could potentially look like, wonder no more, as one fan has taken it upon themselves to make a concept for a sequel and it looks fantastic.

The Banjo-Threeie 'trailer’ was shared on YouTube via the channel Project Dream, a fitting name as it looks like everything we’ve ever dreamed of and more.

The trailer takes viewers through a wide variety of beautiful and colourful environments, reminiscent of the different biomes and levels found in the original game.

Fan-favourite characters like Trixie and Mumbo Jumbo are also present, looking better than ever with some crisp HD graphics.

All in all, the concept trailer hits the mark when it comes to recreating the cartoony, living world of Banjo-Kazooie, and if an official sequel looks anything like this it’s bound to be a masterpiece.

Hopefully the Summer and its various game showcase events will give us the pleasant surprise of a new Banjo-Kazooie game, hopefully coming to the Xbox Series X/S, PC and Nintendo Switch. Fingers crossed eh?
