Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League has less active players than Marvel's Avengers

It has been just over three-months since Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League was first released and it seems the live-service Rocksteady title is still not performing well.

It is safe to say that Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League has not had the best run since it was released at the start of the year. From day-one crashes to discourse over microtransactions, the Rocksteady Studios DC-inspired game is making a name for itself in all the wrong ways.

Now it seems as though it is making headlines again and still not for good reasons.

Recent reports, courtesy of SteamDB, show that Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League has hit an all-time low number of concurrent players with just 118 people playing the title on Steam.

This marks it below titles such as Marvel’s Avengers and more recently, Fallout 4 which hit its highest-player count for the first time in eight years following the success of the hit Amazon Prime show.

As for Marvel’s Avengers, the action-adventure game was released back in 2020 and saw the same issues plague it as the Suicide Squad title. However, it still managed to hit a respectable record of 31,165 concurrent players before it was eventually shut down in 2023 after being considered a failure.

These recent Rocksteady numbers are not surprising considering concurrent players have been slowly dropping for Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League since its release in January. Incidentally, it saw a slight increase when the Season 1 update launched which introduced the Joker.

Although SteamDB only takes PC players into consideration, it is doubtful that the game is performing well on the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S either.
