Cooking and farming go hand in hand, and that is definitely the case on a day-to-day basis for Stardew Valley players.

With video games becoming more and more realistic, it makes sense that Stardew Valley fans can now get their hands on an exciting upcoming release, The Official Stardew Valley Cookbook.

Check out the official Stardew Valley trailer below!

“Welcome to Stardew Valley, where each season brings a new crop of bountiful food to make for friends and family,” reads the official synopsis. “From farm staples like veggies, fruit, milk, and eggs to foraged mushrooms and berries to fresh fish, there’s always something delicious to put on the table.”

Including over 50 recipes inspired by the game with the focus being on some of the ingredients you have spent hundreds of hours cultivating, this companion cookbook is already available to pre-order on Amazon for an impressive $18.81 (34% less than the original retail price).

With The Official Stardew Valley Cookbook set to release today (14 May), it won’t be long before the companion cookbook is in your hands and you can see if your cooking abilities match those in the game.

Split into seasonal dishes, some dishes found throughout the cookbook are the Complete Breakfast for the Spring which includes delicious rhubarb.

Summer welcomes the Crab Cakes to start with a delicious Pink Cake for dessert whereas Fall will, of course, be all things pumpkin with the Pumpkin Soup and Survival Burger.

Last but not least, those cozy Winter months will feature a Roots Platter, Seafoam Pudding and even the Strange Bun if you’re feeling brave enough.

In related news, Stardew Valley fans should check out this Studio Ghibli-inspired farming sim which is set for release in 2025.
