Mass Effect: Legendary Edition available on Steam for next to nothing right now

Mass Effect: Legendary Edition available on Steam for next to nothing right now

Three games for a brilliant low price

If you’ve never played BioWare’s Mass Effect trilogy, well, shame on you. I’m not going to sit here and claim it’s a perfect trifecta of games, but they’re very special sci-fi RPGs that shouldn’t be missed.

So, it’s a good job that Steam currently has the Mass Effect: Legendary Edition on sale for peanuts, right now.

Mass Effect: Legendary Edition is the best way to play the iconic trilogy

The bundle includes the Mass Effect trilogy lovingly remastered, for just £5/$6. That’s a ludicrous price for three brilliant RPGs that will steal your heart.

The saving comes as part of an EA sale across Steam taking in some of the publisher's finest games. However, I should give you a heads-up that if you’re hoping to play on Steam Deck, you might run into issues as these games will use the EA loader.

Otherwise, what are you waiting for? Get these games downloaded and head out into the stars with a cast of wonderful characters, each of whom feels fully realised, carries their own trauma and stories, and can be romanced if you feel the urge.

Not only are the three games included but you’ll get all DLC across the trilogy making this package even better.

With this being the Legendary edition, you’ll be able to take advantage of better customisation of Shepherd, or choose to play as the popular ‘femshep’ who so many fans of the series love.

There’s also better weapon balancing and improved aiming, and your squad will behave using upgraded AI. This is on top of enhanced models, shaders, and FX throughout all three titles.

With rumours that we might see the new Mass Effect title very soon, this is the perfect time to jump into the universe and see how it all began. Your decisions will change the course of history, so how will you play?
