Since Fallout aired on Amazon Prime, a surge of players has been seen and felt back in the Wasteland.
The majority of newcomers are leaving their vault to explore Fallout 4, and with that decision comes another: which console to play on?

Not to cast doubt on the PlayStation 5 updated version, but Xbox is the better option if you’re privileged enough to own both consoles.

This isn’t referencing the confusing messages that PS5 users received when attempting to play Bethesda’s RPG via PS Plus; this is something else entirely.

You see, on Xbox, Bethesda’s Creation Club delivers a better array of options than its PlayStation counterpart.
Arguably, PC gamers still hold all the cards in terms of modding possibilities, but the Creation Club has certainly opened things up for Xbox players.
Unfortunately for PS5 gamers, the options are underwhelming due to Sony’s rigid stance on mod use.
New players still have much to explore even if playing vanilla Fallout 4. Still, the loss of such a large volume of options and customisation will be felt by those who favour enhancing their experience.

Besides buying yourself an Xbox, there is another way to improve your playthrough to get the best Fallout experience, however, you might be a bit nervous to try it. Trust us, though, it’s worth it.
No judgement on how you proceed to play, just know that with a Fallout 3 remake seemingly coming sooner than expected, maybe now is the time to try out the Xbox Series S/X.
Otherwise, you can head to Reddit and moan to your fellow PS5 players also feeling bitter about this obvious advantage.
The most important take away from all this, though, is to just play Fallout.
