GTA 5 goes full Breaking Bad in this awesome free expansion

GTA 5 goes full Breaking Bad in this awesome free expansion

Grand Theft Auto V players looking to channel their inner Walter White should take a look at this incredible mod.

We may be inching closer and closer to the launch of Grand Theft Auto VI but knowing that fact doesn’t necessarily make waiting for it any easier.

It’s going to be very strange saying somewhat of a final goodbye to Grand Theft Auto V. Of course, it’s a game that we can always return to but still, there’s a definite shifting of eras on the horizon.

Needless to say, Grand Theft Auto V has served us very well for the past decade. It isn’t simply just Rockstar Games that we have to thank though.

The Grand Theft Auto modding community is one of the best out there, creating endless streams of content that help breathe new life into our old favourites.

Well, you can get a bit more mileage out of Grand Theft Auto V before VI drops thanks to the excellent Meth Empire expansion mod.

ICYMI: Take a look at GTA VI in action below.

This one has been around for some time but it did recently receive a nice little update. Meth Empire was originally created by FelixTheBlackCat back in 2017.

It basically allows you to go all out Breaking Bad, creating your own meth empire.

“This mod adds the ability to cook and sell batches of meth, as well as complete missions to upgrade and supply your lab,” the description teases.

“Go to the laboratory at Liquor Ace to access your meth business. From there you can cook new batches, arrange deals, purchase supplies and upgrade your lab.”

There you have it - perfect for budding Walter Whites.

Just last year, the Meth Empire mod was overhauled by HKH191 who addressed several bugs and converted the mod to LemonUI giving the project a nice quality-of-life boost.

It’s totally free to enjoy over on GTA5-mods so if you’re looking for something to keep you occupied this Easter weekend, why not enjoy a foray back into the wonderful GTA V?
