Despite the PlayStation 5 almost celebrating its fourth anniversary, it seems as though it still has a few hidden features to uncover. One such one makes navigation a whole lot easier.
With rumours circulating earlier this year that the PlayStation 5 was entering the latter stages of its lifespan, it feels hard to believe that it was just four years ago people were fighting on the streets to get their hands on one. However, with said rumours supposedly untrue, it seems that we are left with our PS5s for a bit longer so discovering new and useful features is always going to be useful.

Shared by one user on r/playstation, the PlayStation 5 reportedly has “hidden controls” found in the system’s Control Center. These can be found by heading into the Control Center, highlighting the icon of your choice and then selecting the Options button. This will allow you to add the hidden controls to the Controls Center permanently.

The hidden controls include options to access the home screen, switcher, notifications, game base, music, sound, microphone, accessories, profile and power by default. The remaining options hidden by default are for accessibility, voice and broadcast.
You can also organise the layout of the options to make the set-up most accessible to you but this handy feature will make navigation a whole lot easier.
In related news, PlayStation Plus subscribers were recently surprised with a bonus free game outside of the usual monthly catalog. Not only do players get free access to it but it is also available for both PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 users. However, with a PlayStation Plus bug that is currently making free games unplayable, you may want to hold off for a bit.
